A major supermarket chain Down Under is making global headlines for offering its transgender employees 10 more days off of paid leave than its non-transgender employees.
Coles supermarket announced that it is aware of “at least 900 team members who identify as transgender or gender diverse” and wants to ensure that they receive special treatment as privileged members of the company’s workforce (Related: The Calvin Klein corporation recently paid homage to transgenderism by featuring a pregnant “man” in one of its advertisements.)
Team members at Coles who choose to undergo “gender reassignment” and “sex change” surgery will be paid for the time off needed to complete their transitions. The company is calling this policy “paid gender affirmation leave.”
Coles Chief Legal and Safety Officer and chair of the Coles Pride Steering Committee David Brewster told the media that the new policy is an important step in the company’s ongoing commitment to “inclusion” in the workplace.
“We need to have proper policy and education in this area so there is clear guidance around taking leave for this important transition in their life,” Brewster is quoted as saying.
“Our Pride network has grown significantly over the past year, and we have Pride committees in every state, driving activity and engagement at a local level.”
In addition to pandering to the trans community, Coles also announced that it has forged an official partnership with Pride Cup Australia, an organization that promotes “inclusivity” and “diversity” in sports – meaning more men pretending to be “women” playing on women’s sports teams.
Pride Cup Australia has reportedly infiltrated everything from national leagues to local community clubs, and everything in-between.
“Our partnership with Pride Cup Australia will help ensure that LGBTQI+ athletes at all levels can play sport in a safe place in all communities around Australia,” Brewster added in a statement.
“Our goal is for the program to reach regional and rural areas as well as in metropolitan locations.”
Pride Cup Australia CEO James Lolicatos applauded Coles for partnering up with his organization, complaining that as a child he had to endure “homophobic comments” being “thrown around the field more than the ball was.”
“I didn’t feel welcome or safe to be myself in sport,” Lolicatos is quoted as saying. “To now see Pride Cup games being held in so many sports across the country is incredible.”
“We know that sports clubs are at the very heart of so many communities; these events make real inroads for LGBTQI+ inclusion far beyond game day.”
Lolicatos went on to explain that he is personally “delighted” about what Coles is doing because it will help Pride Cup Australia “expand their reach to over 750 clubs annually across Australia by 2025.”
Will the mantra of get woke, go broke apply to Coles? Will all of this LGBTQ-blah-blah pandering result in a major backfire of public outrage and protest? Or is this kind of thing simply accepted in Australia?
“This is literally Satanism, and don’t ever forget it,” wrote someone at Natural News about all of this LGBTQ pandering. “Satan is coming for you, for your family, for your children and for your future grandchildren.”
“Satan’s only wish is to destroy all of humanity and to destroy all of human morality through the complete destruction of natural law as created by God. ‘Come out of her, my children, so that you be not partakers in her sins.’ Babylon WILL fall. Get right with God.”
Others echoed this same sentiment, with one of them writing that Satan has been “amassing his power in humanity” and “culling the herd to build the Antichrist faithful.”
