Political correctness is now infecting the NBA, which is doubling down in its support of communist China even after it was revealed that as many as three million innocent people are being enslaved as political prisoners in concentration camps located near an NBA training facility in Xinjiang.
As we’ve been reporting, communist China is systematically torturing, raping, sterilizing, and harvesting the organs of mostly Muslim ethnic Uighurs because their religious beliefs contradict the official Chinese religion of atheism – and the NBA apparently sees nothing wrong with this horrific oppression.
After tweeting a gesture of support for the pro-democracy protesters that have been marching through the streets of Hong Kong for the past several months, Daryl Morey, general manager of the Houston Rockets, suddenly removed this tweet and issued a gushing apology for tweeting it in the first place.
Why did Morey do this? Because supporting the Hong Kong protesters means opposing China’s efforts to subdue Hong Kong under communism, which doesn’t jive with the NBA’s apparent partnership with China.
It would seem as though Morey was intimidated by top NBA heads to withdraw his support for Hong Kong and apologize to China, even as China’s puppet government guns down innocent children in shows of force against the peaceful Hong Kong protesters.
“Daryl Morey is supported in terms of his ability to exercise his freedom of expression,” were the politically correct words of NBA Commissioner Adam Silver following Morey’s coerced apology, demonstrating that the NBA has become one of communist China’s many propaganda mouthpieces.

Had Morey’s tweet been allowed to remain on Twitter’s platform, China may have retaliated by forcing the NBA out of its country, which is something the league presumably wanted to avoid. Thus, the NBA sold out to China simply to save its own butt, paying no regard to the millions of innocent lives that China is oppressing.
“If you’re watching the NBA or supporting that product, you have to come to grips with the fact that you are supporting an industry that is working with the Chinese Communist Party, a regime that oppresses tens of millions, hundreds of millions … and you’re okay with it if you’re an NBA supporter,” stated Alex Marlow from Breitbart News Daily during a recent discussion about the scandal on SiriusXM.
Frances Martel, the editor of Breitbart International News, agrees, having stated to Marlow and the station’s listeners that NBA supporters cannot sit idly by and accept these atrocities.
“Every teenager who watches NBA and looks up to those players knows what the Holocaust is, knows what concentration camps are … and these kids are going to find out that China is doing that today, while they are alive,” she stated.
“And we are constantly told … we can’t let something like that happen on our watch again and the greatness of America comes from the fact that we stood up to that.”
Natural News is similarly calling on NBA fans to take notice of what’s going on and stop supporting the league. Unless the NBA suddenly comes out to decry what’s going on in communist China and ends its partnership with the regime, there’s no good reason why any American should continue to watch NBA games.
“We have been normalizing relations with China for decades, giving them most favored trading status. It’s time to stop all that,” wrote one Breitbart News commenter in response to the news.
“They are a country run by evil rulers. We can’t continue to treat them like an acceptably run country.”
